I have spent most of my life in love with food. So it should come to no surprise that I am still passionate about food and its preparation. I have raised three wonderful children and know the pains that come with making sure they are fed and fed well. I enjoy getting back to my Appalachian roots through cooking.
In the past I have created a Private Facebook Group called Appalachian Cooks that as of writing this has over 100,000 members. I am currently a Pampered Chef Consultant as well. And over the years of reading and seeing what my visitors to the Appalachian Cooks Group are interested in, I have found a need for our members and friends alike to have a place to share their recipes. So I started this website AppalachianCooks.com.
I wanted AppalachianCooks to have the ability to share recipes. I also wanted our visitors to be able to not only submit and store there recipes but also be able to easily look them as well. I know how frustrating it can be when you have a plan to prepare a certain dish and not be able to find the recipe it calls for. Now we have one place to look, AppalachianCooks.com. Please join me in making this the best site ever. No need for studio pictures here; just some real down-home cooking, Appalachian Style!.
