Ingredients
- 4.5 pounds Flank Steak, cut into ¾” cubes
- 2 pound Italian sausage, cut into ¾” slices
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons steak salt
- ½ teaspoon Moroccan Seasoning (McCormick Gourmet Collection)
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 onion, chopped
- 4 cups beef broth
- 6 potatoes, diced
- 7 carrots, sliced
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
Method
Step 1
Brown the meats in a skillet or a pot. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a small bowl mix together the flour, salt, steak seasoning, Moroccan Seasoning, black pepper, brown sugar and paprika; pour over meat, and stir to coat meat with flour mixture.
Step 3
Place meat in slow cooker.
Step 4
Stir in the garlic, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, onions, beef broth, potatoes, carrots, and celery.
Step 5
Cover, and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on High setting for 4 to 6 hours.
