Sourdough Starter – Day 5

Day 5 and I have hooch on top of mine again. Stirred the hooch back in and ready for today’s feeding. Stick with me…3 more days! Day 6 & 7 we will do 2 feedings each day. Think about what your next 2 days will be like and adjust your feeding times to work for you. I will be doing 6a and 6p but whatever works for you is just fine!

I didn’t do pics today as it is basically the same as yesterday!

Day 5 Instructions

1. Stir it up to reincorporate any hooch you may have on top.

2. Pour off 1/2 your starter and either discard or pour into another container.

3. Add 1 cup flour and 1 cup water. Stir well to completely incorporate everything.

4. Cover and let sit on the counter for 24 hours.
