Saving Bacon Grease on the Counter

We’re all saving bacon grease, the question is, how do you store it? Do you leave your bacon grease out on the counter or do you store it in the refrigerator?

I never have enough around to worry about how it’s stored because I use it right away. We only eat a couple pieces of bacon at a time so we never get a big accumulation of the bacon grease to save.

If I did cook more bacon than I do, I might consider some of these super cute counter containers to save bacon grease in. Which one do you like best?

Containers for Saving Bacon Grease

Wow things have really came a long way from grandma’s coffee tin sitting on the stove to collect bacon grease in. While the idea is still the same, the usability has increased with an added strainer inside the storage vessel.

$25.99 Farmhouse Enameled Bacon Grease Container

This one has a farmhouse style to it and has a handle. It resembles the old enamelware everyone used to use. So farmhouse chic. It would work for someone who only make a few strips of bacon a couple of times a week. If you are like most cooks, you will be using it up as fast as you can get it into the pot.

This one is stainless steel. A great way for you to start saving bacon grease.

This Bacon Grease Container is only $9.99

The next container for saving bacon grease is a red one! Who doesn’t love a red accent in the kitchen. If you are going to leave your bacon grease out on the counter, you might as well do it with style and flair!

Enamel on Steel Bacon Grease Can, 4 Inch, Red only $25.19

Other Bacon Grease Cans and Containers Available

There are many other bacon grease containers available, the 3 we showed above were just the ones to catch our eye. Let us know in the comments which one is your favorite. Here is a list to all of the current bacon grease cans available on Amazon today.
